Early Life and Career
Born in Italy to American parents, Cole Sprouse and his twin brother Dylan were named after jazz singer Nat King Cole and poet Dylan Thomas, respectively. The Sprouse family moved back to the United States just a few months after the twins’ birth. Cole’s acting career began when he and Dylan shared the role of Patrick Kelly in the ABC series “Grace Under Fire” from 1993 to 1998.
Cole and Dylan later rose to fame through their roles in the Disney Channel series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” where Cole played the character Cody Martin. They continued to portray Zack and Cody in the spin-off series “The Suite Life on Deck”.
After a brief hiatus from acting to attend college, Cole returned to television as Jughead Jones in the CW series “Riverdale,” an adaptation of the Archie Comics.
In addition to his television work, Cole has also appeared in films such as “Big Daddy” and “The Master of Disguise,” and voiced characters in animated films like “Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn’t Happen.”
Cole is an avid photographer and has shot campaigns for major fashion brands. He graduated from New York University in 2015 with a degree in archaeology.
Throughout his career, Cole has worked with numerous acclaimed actors, including Adam Sandler in “Big Daddy” and KJ Apa in “Riverdale.”
Cole Sprouse continues to captivate audiences with his acting talent. His dedication to his craft and his versatility promise a long and successful career in the entertainment industry. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Cole is still portraying Jughead Jones in “Riverdale.”
