Alade went to Victory Grammar School in Ikeja for secondary school and the University of Lagos for university, both in Lagos, Nigeria.
During her academic years, Alade competed in and won a television talent contest called Peak Talent Show. That was Alade’s first appearance on television, and it was there that she achieved notoriety.

King of Queens, Alade’s debut studio album, was released on October 2, 2014. Selebobo, Sizzle Pro, Shady Bizniz, Philkeyz, Young D, GospelOnDeBeatz, DIL, OJB Jezreel, Mr Chidoo, Fliptyce, EL Mcee, and Beat Nation were among the producers who worked with Alade. The singles “Johnny,” “Tangerine,” and “Kissing” preceded the album. Bovi, R2Bees, Phyno, Chidinma, DIL, Selebobo, and Diamond Platnumz make cameos and perform skits.
Mama Africa, Alade’s second studio album, was released on March 25, 2016. Its title, Mama Africa, was revealed by Alade, who stated that it would focus on the virtues and shortcomings of an African lady. Afropop, highlife, R&B, coupé-décalé, hip-hop, and pop are all represented on the album.
