Juliana Oluwatobiloba Olayode, also known as Toyo Baby, is a Nigerian actress, author, singer, speaker, influencer and sexual morality activist best known for her role as Toyosi in the series Jenifa’s Diary. She’s also known for publicly criticizing Nigerian youths who engage in sex before marriage. She is from Ogun State’s Ipokia Local Government. She is the youngest of her parents’ six children as well as a devout Christian.

She had already appeared in four films before Jenifa’s Diary took her to prominence, including Couple of Days, in which she played the part of Judith. When asked how she got on the set of Jenifa’s Diary, she responded with this;
“I always say that it’s a miracle because i just went for the auditions like every other person. The audition was supposed to start by 10’o clock but i got there around 8am thinking that i was very early, but i was number 273 on the list.
I was so surprised because the crowd was so much and at a point, i felt like going back home, but my mum encouraged me to stay. When i got into the audition room, i saw aunty funke, the director and some other people that were auditioning.”
Despite gradually becoming a household name due to her role as Toyo Baby on the hit TV series, Olayode maintains her image as the girl next door. She strives to stay grounded despite the tendencies of fame and fortune.
