Dan Jewett is a science teacher by profession. According to a post by Head of School Percy Abram, Jewett worked as a science teacher at The Bush School in Seattle from 2011 to 2016.
From 2006 to 2007, Jewett taught AP chemistry at Harriton High School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

After less than two years of marriage, MacKenzie Scott filed for divorce from her second husband, Dan Jewett, on Monday.
Jewett did not contest the divorce, according to documents obtained by the New York Times, and the division of property was already determined in a prenuptial agreement.
The former couple, who married quietly in March 2021, first hinted at marital problems when the science teacher’s name mysteriously vanished from Scott’s philanthropic pledges.
His letter is no longer displayed alongside hers on the Giving Pledge website, where billionaires pledge to give away half of their fortune before they die.
Her Amazon bio also made no mention of her second husband.
Scott’s divorce comes three years after she and Jeff Bezos announced their divorce after 25 years together.
