Brandon Reece Taylor (born July 1, 1998) is a British philosopher, author, entrepreneur, diarist, and composer who is known professionally as Brandon Reece Taylorian Kometan or Cometan. As the founder of the ideology, Philosophy Of Millettism and Cosmic Philosophy, he is a popular figure in the literary and religious circles.
He is also the founder of The Jesse Millette Company and Astronism. The turning point of Cometan‘s career happened at the age of fifteen when he came up with the Taylorian idea.
He soon developed the characters, narratives surrounding fictional work, which later metamorphosed into real-life Taylorian philosophies. At the young age of twenty, he was inducted as a member of The Royal Institute Of Philosophy.

Early Life
Cometan was born to British parents on the 1st Of July 1998. Birthed in Preston, Lancashire, he was named Brandon Reece Taylor. At the time of his birth, his father, Sean Taylor, owned a Vending Machine Business, while his mother, Louise Counsell, was the owner of a saloon, where she worked as a hairdresser.
Prior to his birth, his parents had been married for seven years and had given birth to his older sister, Lucia Natalie Richardson. However, when Cometan turned four, his parents separated and decided to dissolve their marriage after irreconcilable differences. As a result, his mother, Louise J. Counsell, was given custody of him.
Cometan‘s grandparents played a huge role in his upbringing. During his pre-teen years, he spent his weekends at the house of his paternal grandparents, Derek Taylor and Irene Taylor. This allowed him to interact with his many cousins and other extended family members. He also visited his maternal grandparents, Bill Warbick and Hilda Warbick, from time to time.
Growing up, his grandparents, The Taylors, who were of the Catholic faith, took him along to church every week. He always went in the company of his cousin, Thomas Taylor, who was living with his grandparents at the time. The Taylors attended St. John Southworth Church regularly.
Visiting his grandparents’ estate gave him the opportunity to learn the piano. Some of his older cousins were piano players, and they encouraged him to start practicing the instrument. It didn’t take long before he became a well-versed piano player.

Cometan has a robust educational background. He attended St. Mary and St. Benedict Catholic School for his elementary school education.
For his high school education, he studied at Brownedge St. Mary Catholic High School. In addition, he studied English Literature & Language, Media Studies, and Geography at Cardinal Newman College for his A levels.
When he turned eighteen, he applied to the University Of Central Lancashire and was given admission to study Business and Marketing. He graduated from the institution in 2020.
On the 16th Of September 2021, he bagged his Master’s degree from the University Of Central Lancashire.
Career
The Jesse Millette Philosophy was birthed on Cometan‘s fifteenth birthday on the 1st Of July 2013. That day, he conceived the idea for The Jesse Millette mystery series, and he created the fictional characters Jesse Millette and Harriet Millette. Nevertheless, the author admits to having been inspired by the fiction series, Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys while growing up.
As the years advanced, the Original Jesse Millette series expanded from the usual mystery narrative to non-mystery related series before growing into a philosophical idealogy. He published the precursor edition of Jesse Millette and The Phantom’s Curse on the 7th of November 2017.
He is famous for being the founder of Astronism and a proponent of freedom of speech and religion. He is also considered to be a religious leader. Often referred to as the philosopher of the stars, he is the organizer of the Astronic Tradition and founder of the branch of philosophy, Cosmic Philosophy.
Cometan got his first job at the age of fourteen when he was employed his mum, Louise J. Counsell, to work at her saloon. When he turned eighteen, he took up a volunteer position at Hoghton Tower, a fortified stately home in Hoghton village. After proving himself to be diligent work, he was employed as a paid staff, working as a Marketer.
Like most of his cousins, Cometan had taken piano lessons while growing up, and this made him develop a likeness for music. He attended Heylings Music School, where helped him improve on his piano playing skills and become a budding musician. By the time he turned nineteen, he had already received a grade four music theory qualification and participated in music examinations up to Grade five-level.

Personal Life
Cometan turned 23 years years old on the 1st Of July. He resides in Lancashire. He has seven siblings, two step-sisters and three step-brothers from his father and one step-sister from his mother. Lucia Natalie Richardson is the only sibling that was born by both his parents.
His father remarried in 2018, while his mum remarried in 2012. Thus, there is a wide age gap between him and his younger siblings. However, thanks to his father, he has a large extended family and is said to have about fifty cousins.
Although he was affected by his parent’s divorce, his grandparents helped him sail through tt phase and a developed a strong bond with them. Unfortunately, his grandpa, Derek Taylor passed away in 2013 while his grandma, Irene died in 2015.
During his childhood, he moved house four times, staying with his mother and stepfather. However, after his parents’ divorce, he didn’t live with his father for once.
Cometan is currently undergoing his Ph.D. at the University Of Central Lancashire and is an open Freemason of the Lancaster City Lodge. He was initiated into the fraternity when he attained the legal age of eighteen. However, he had expressed interest in joining society when he was seventeen.
