The highly anticipated Season 3 of reality show Big Brother Mzansi premiered on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) at 18:00 on Sunday, January 23. Lawrence Maleka, the host of the live broadcast, introduced the 18 Housemates to the country and each other.
For 70 days, the Housemates lived in the same residence. They’re being watched all the time to see who can get the most viewers’ attention and earn R2 million.
They’ll compete in games, wild parties, and challenges each week, with the winner being dubbed Head of House and receiving immunity from elimination.
The surviving Housemates put themselves forward for eviction. During the Sunday live programs, fans vote for their favorite Housemate to stay, and the Housemate with the fewest votes is sent home. The cash prize goes to the last Housemate standing at the end of the competition.
