After welcoming Oonagh Paige on April 8, 2021, Amber wrote: “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms.
“I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.
“I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib. A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.
“My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”
Amber Heard said in July 2021 that she had discreetly welcomed baby girl Oonagh Paige via surrogate, asserting that she is both “the mom and dad” to the child.
Friends claimed that Oonagh Paige was born on April 8 via surrogate after Heard was informed she would never be able to have her own child.

Amber Heard uploaded a photo of herself with the baby on Instagram to confirm the news. She has never revealed the child’s father or sperm donor’s identity.
Heard was associated at the time with cinematographer Bianca Butti, whom she had been dating since January 2020, but she took the decision to have a baby on her own some time ago and is “proud” to be Oonagh’s sole legal mom, according to reports.
There has been a lot of conjecture that Elon Musk is the child’s father and that he functioned as a sperm donor.
Heard dated Tesla CEO Elon Musk for a year before their split in August 2017. After four months apart, the couple decided to rekindle their romance later that year. They ended their relationship in February 2018.
Heard’s publicist did not reply to demands for comment on the child’s paternity. We didn’t hear back from Musk.
Heard is “obsessed” with her daughter, Paige, whom she named after her late mother.
The birth is especially painful for her because she lost her own mother in May 2020 at the age of 63, and she described herself as “heartbroken and devastated beyond belief” at the time.
In an Instagram post, she referred to her mother Paige as “the most beautiful woman I had ever known,” adding, “It’s hard to imagine and even harder to say, but I feel truly lucky to have been her daughter and been given the gift of having the light she shone on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years.”
Heard then tweeted a lovely image of Oonagh working on a laptop with her in July 2021, referring to her as “the boss.”

Heard has shared footage of her and her daughter spending their lives together on Instagram after sharing the news. They’ve been residing in London, where Heard has been seen pushing the adorable baby in a stroller.
