Adunni received her First School Leaving Certificate from the Chrisland Primary School in Opebi, Lagos State. At Bells Comprehensive Secondary School in Ota, Ogun State, she earned her Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

Her father, a renowned businessman in Lagos, encouraged her to pursue a degree in accounting. Adunni Ade graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2008.

Before moving to the entertainment industry, Adunni worked in the housing and insurance industries in the United States. She also dabbled in modeling, appearing on the show America’s Next Top Model. She received her first Nollywood part in the film You or I after returning to Nigeria.
She’s also been in a number of other Nollywood films, both in English and in Yoruba, as well as some music videos for Sound Sultan and Ice Prince.
“Emi Mi – My Soul,” directed by Saidi Balogun, was her debut Yoruba film, which she created and produced in 2018. Ibrahim Chatta, D’Marion Young, Sunkanmi Omobolanle, and Shola Kosoko appeared in the film.

Later same year, she produced “Ewa – Beauty,” a Yoruba drama film directed by Saidi Balogun and starring Ibrahim Chatta, Yinka Quadri, Kunle Omisore, and Tayo Sobola, and starring Ibrahim Chatta, Yinka Quadri, Kunle Omisore, and Tayo Sobola. She has appeared in over 100 Nigerian films (both in the English and Yoruba aspect of Nollywood)
