Joseph Bruno Career
Bruno has been employed at the private school for almost nine years. He began as the Assistant Director of Development in Alumni Relations, progressing to Associate Director of Alumni Engagement before becoming Dean of Students.
He previously worked on the DePaul University faculty before joining the school. He served on the university’s programming finance board, was in charge of new student orientation, coordinated recruitment, training, and selection procedures, and assisted with supervision and programming.
He earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership – Higher Education from Lewis University. He also attended Dominican University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Sociology and Communications.

Francis W. Parker School Dean of Students Joseph Bruno has raised eyebrows on social media after boasting about bringing LGBT activists to the educational institution to teach children about “queer sx.” He claimed that dldos and b**t plugs were passed around the seminar to students aged 14 to 18. Since then, social media users have condemned the Chicago private school.
Joseph Bruno admitted to teaching minors about queer intimacy in a new video released by Project Veritas.
In the video, Joseph Bruno said,
“So, I’ve been the Dean for four years. During Pride- we do a Pride Week every year- I had our LGBTQ+ Health Center come in. They were passing around b*t plugs and dldos to my students, talking about queer s*x, using lube versus using spit.”
However, the school board are all in support of Joseph Bruno;
An official in the school said,
‘He was filmed without his knowledge or permission while describing one example of our inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and comprehensive approach to sex education. Veritas deceptively edited the video with malicious intent.
‘Parker administrators and Parker’s Board of Trustees support Parker’s programming, the strength and inclusivity of our curriculum, and the dedicated and talented faculty and staff that teach it,’
