Cherry Valentine Cause of Death
Cherry Valentine’s cause of death has not yet been ascertained; however, his family released a statement following his death.
“It is with the most heart wrenching and deepest sadness to inform you that our George – Cherry Valentine – has tragically passed away.
“This will come as a profound shock to most people and we understand there is no easy way for this to be announced.
“As his family, we are still processing his death and our lives will never be the same.
“We understand how much he is loved and how many lives he has inspired and touched.
“All we ask is for your patience and your prayers in this time.
“We love you Georgie. 30 November 1993 – 18 September 2022.”
George, who died on Sunday, appeared on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK before embarking on a television career and starring in the BBC documentary Gypsy Queen And Proud.
Valentine began her career as a drag queen in 2018. She became a mental health nurse in the NHS in 2015 and assisted with the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in the UK.
Valentine revealed on Drag Race UK that he grew up in a strict environment where drag was not accepted and that he hid his Traveller heritage in the LGBTQIA+ community out of fear of “hate or backlash.”
