Arrangements have been made for Vicky White’s funeral which is expected to take place in Lexington. Vicky White would be buried on Saturday, May 14 2022 at Center Hill Cemetery in Lexington, according to her obituary released by Greenhill Funeral Home.

Her mother, father, brothers, and other relatives and friends survive her.

Vicky White died on Monday after fleeing with Casey White for more than a week. Vicky White committed suicide as law enforcement approached to apprehend the fugitives.

Vicky White Autopsy Report and Cause of Death

After an examination, the cause of death for Vicky White was officially determined to be suicide.

According to Coroner Steve Lockyear, the jail officer accused of assisting dangerous felon Casey White (no relation) in escaping from Lauderdale County Jail in Alabama died from a single self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The coroner’s office confirmed in a brief statement on Tuesday night that the death was declared a suicide.

Vicky White shot herself after a police chase and automobile collision on Monday afternoon in Evansville, Indiana, according to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office. Following an autopsy conducted from 5 p.m. on Tuesday evening, the discovery has now been officially confirmed by the local Vanderburgh County Coroner.

Vicky White died on Monday after a ten-day chase with her former accomplice, who is now in police jail. The 56-year-old divorcee’s actions caused a media frenzy, with her motivations for allegedly assisting the criminal still unknown. Some speculated that the two were dating, while others speculated that she was threatened or pressured into assisting him.

Investigators are trying to put together what transpired now that Casey White has been apprehended alive.

After Casey White was detained, US Marshal Martin Keely informed CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 that he referred to Vicky White as his “wife.” But, according to Keely, the couple did not appear to have married while on the run.

According to The Associated Press, Vicky White was previously married, but the couple divorced in 1991 and her ex-husband died earlier this year.
