Maralee Nichols, Tristan Thompson’s baby mama, is a fitness model and former personal trainer.
Tristan Thompson has finally proven that he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby through a paternity test, after weeks of making headlines.
According to certain online reports, Nichols was Tristan’s personal trainer, but the model debunked the rumors with E! News.
“Many misleading and fraudulent reports about me have been disseminated over the past few of weeks,” Maralee clarified.
“The following are the facts: Since 2019, I’ve been residing in California. I don’t work as a personal trainer. For the past four years, I have not worked as a personal trainer; instead, I work as a fitness model. “I was never Tristan’s personal trainer.”
Outside of the fitness sector, the 31-year-old is well-known on social media, with over 129k Instagram followers.
According to rumors, Maralee met Tristan in 2020 and told E! News, “He told me he was unmarried and co-parenting.” If I had knew Tristan was in a relationship, I would never have been connected with him.”
Thompson’s kid was born to Nichols in December 2021.
Tristan Thompson has confirmed that the child is his.
After a month of speculation, Tristan Thompson came to Instagram on January 3rd 2022 to declare that he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby.
Via an IG story, Tristan Thompson wrote:
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.
“I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both privately and publicly.”
The baby was allegedly conceived in March of 2021, on the NBA player’s 30th birthday, according to Nichols. Thompson was reportedly still dating ex-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian at the time.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” the 30-year-old continued, apologizing to his ex. You don’t deserve the pain and disgrace I’ve inflicted on you. You don’t deserve to be treated the way I have throughout the years.”
Thompson has three children, including his daughter True with Kardashian and his son Prince with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.

Following Tristan’s public confession and apologies, Maralee Nichols has come out through her publicist.
“There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby,” the fitness model’s rep told Page Six.
“Over the last few months, Tristan has made a number of false and defamatory claims and assertions against Maralee, and she is considering his remorseful statement today in the light of all of those statements.”
Nichols also stated to E! News that she was not interested in dating Thompson, stating:
“I’ve decided to embrace being a mother and do my best for my boy.” I don’t want any more media attention, and I don’t want to be romantically involved with Tristan.
“My desire is to provide a safe, healthy, loving, and private home for our boy.”
